Crescent Town is a diverse, Toronto neighbourhood located southeast of the Don River in the former borough of East York. Bordered by Dentonia Park Avenue to the north, Victoria Park Avenue to the east, Donora Park to the south and Dawes Road to the west. Crescent Town is located just minutes from the Upper Beach. This Toronto neighbourhood began as a farm where Walter Massey, the son of Canada’s first manufacturer Hart Massey, sold eggs, poultry and fresh trout. In 1969, the land was sold to developers who created a self-contained community.

While people of all ages live in this neighbourhood, the majority are between 30 and 55 years old. Less than 8 percent of the population is 18 years old or younger.

Taylor Creek Park offers walking trails, picnic areas and wooded areas perfect for taking photos or watching birds while residents can walk to the 18-hole, par 3 Dentonia Park Golf Course on Victoria Park Avenue. The Crescent Town Club has a full-size gymnasium, swimming pool, indoor track and handball, racquetball and squash courts
